On the 6th April 2018, Zuma appeared for the first time in court after being removed as a president by his organization “ANC.” Hundreds of his supporters attended the High Court in Durban and they wore ANC regalia; regardless of the ANC official structure condemned that. Former SABC Boss Hlaudi Motsoeneng was among the pro-Zuma supporters who were attended a night vigil on the day eve of the court case. Other leaders showed their support to Mr.Zuma, those including Fikile Mbalula (Former Minister of Police), KZN premier “Willies Mchunu”, BLF Leader “Andile Mngxitama” and ANC KZN interim committee co-ordinator, Mr. Sihle Zikalala. Many spectators predicted that if ANC is not careful of Zuma issue, the 2019 national elections will be a big blow for the ANC in KwaZulu Natal province, as many supporters in the province show a loyalty to a former president.
