On the last day of the women’s month August, President Jacob Zuma appeared in parliament for the first time after the motion of no-confidence against him on the eve of the National Women’s Day, the 08th of August. The opposition more especially the EFF address the President as “baba ka Duduzane” which means father to Duduzane. I won’t lie I like that, after all he is Duduzane’s father. The opposition said they do not recognise him the president hence it was kind of uneasy in calling him ‘the honourable president’.

The opposition as we may have all expected it, then started grilling our president and knowing him, dodging to answer questions then claim he answered making MPs on the ooposition parties even more furious with him. I am not surprised, I mean Mr Zuma does as he pleases, no one tells him what to do, not even the highest court on our land is a match for our President. As usual Mr Zuma denied involvement of the Guptas in appointing of ministers in his cabinet. We are not surprised, the way Mr Jacob Zuma denies anything related to the Guptas, I bet he would deny the Guptas breath oxygen I can already see him in parliament, “no..no..the Guptas have nothing to do with our South African oxygen, nothing whatsoever, they bring their own oxygen from Dubai”,funny hey? That’s our president, the survivor. Seven motion of no confidence against him and he won all of them, if you ask me I could you what he did when he got home that night, played Destinys Child survivor mimicing Beyonce there.

The way our president has power, you know his son Duduzane, that guy who was said to be responsible for deaths of two people, Phumzile Dube and Jeanete Mashaba whn his porche collide with a taxi in 2014. The Randburg magistrates court found that his negligence led to the dead of these two people, but even though that was proved, he walked, yes he did. The president’s sons are so ungovernable you know, one minute its Edward harassing former minister Mr Praving Gordon in Durban during his lecture at a Gandhi Memorial. This president’s son, Edward heckled him and interrupted Mr Gordon calling him all sorts of words you know. What happened to respect? Mr Gordon is as old as his grandfather yet Edward was behaving like a spoilt brat who was never taught to respect elders, and guess what the ANC won’t do anything about it, giving the dumpest of all the reasons they could give us, saying they didn’t see incident. Really?

Still on Zuma’s sons, Duduzane in an interview with the BBC when asked about the partnership between him and the Guptas, he referred to himself as being “likable’. Saying the Guptas are working with him because they like him, he is a likable guy, but I don’t like him he must rephrase that statement, and on the issue of the leaked Gupta emails, he dodged answering about the authenticity of the emails claiing he is the one who organised meetings between the Gupta brothers and Cabinet Ministers. This boy doesn’t just look like his father, but he sure does behave like him, the dodging of questions runs in the family I see; as it is said: ‘ like father like son’.

I get bored watching a Question and answer session with Zuma in parliament simply because I know it’s a waste of my precious time, the president is not going to answer the burning questions, but always dodges them and answer something irrelevant. I don’t even have to go through the questions he was asked and the and all that, I mean what our president is good at the most, laughing. We have a laughing president that is it. We are well aware of the war within the ANC in KZN, between Senzo Mchunu and Sihle Zikalala over an election where Zikalala came out tops, so now ANC is taking ANC to court, going to court must be nice or otherwise, all these politicians do is go to court one after the other.
