M.U.S.E “Metro Urban Sophisticated Entertainer”

Background

M.U.S.E. (Metro Urban Sophisticated Entertainer) was born Peter Roy Charles Chester, in 1984 on the 14th of October is a Emcee, Song Writer, Graphics Designer & Poet who currently resides in the suburb of Khumalo in the city of Bulawayo.

The love of music was developed at a very early age, and after his family relocated to Pennsylvania USA, as he grew he found his passion for writing and soon joined a rap trio called the 3 Kings and began his lyrical career at the age of fourteen.

Influences

M.U.S.E.’s musical influences are widely spread through many different genres that span from classic rock, country, blues, jazz, Motown and, much more. Artist such as Prince, Smokey Robinson, Miles Davis as well as many new names in the industustry like, The Roots, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Big Punisher and many others contribute greatly to M.U.S.E.’s aggressive and yet eloquent writing and rhyming pattern.

Up to date M.U.S.E. has released 1 mixtape titled Exquisite Lyrics Vol 1 (and is due to release the sequel in January 2018), 1 official album titled The Artist along with 9 underground projects his smash single of 2017 which won him 4 nominations 100 BARS and 1 video M.U.S.E is also set to release his second album late in 2018 titled The Canvas.

2016 saw a busy M.U.S.E. on stage at Intwasa Festival 2016 Zim, POY KeSummer Album Launch Zim, Club 263 Byo Opening Zim, Breast Cancer Awareness March Zim and the Wa-BB Funday Carnival Zim. 2017 was just as busy for M.U.S.E. beginning with the launch of his album in Bulawayo, Bigger Than Hip Hop Concert Zim, Made In Bulawayo 2 Concert Zim, Rep Your City Concert Harare Zim, HabeSound Launch Zim, Pass Me The Mic Tour Concert Zim, Zim Hip Hop Awards Prelaunch Party Byo Zim, RedBee Emotions Album Launch, Bulawayo Athletics Club Summer Carnival Zim, T1NDA Higher Definition Album launch Zim.
