OBSTACLES COULD NOT STOP THE DREAM "Keenotte"

Real Name Nkosithethile Wandile Zimemo but know by his stage name "Keenotte" originally born in Mount frare (EC) but grew up in Kokstad (KZN) and moved to Johannesburg (Gauteng). Keenotte always dreamed and always wanted to be a musician, but with the lack of information and knowledge he never knew where he would even begin, coming from a small town, has a lot of disadvantages.

But all of those obstacles could not stop the dream of a young boy, because his a complete artist and truly love art, him and his friends were dancers and they started a Crew back in 2007 called DCBz (stands for Dem Crossroad Boyz/Brothers) they started dancing just about any type of dance but 2008 they became a strictly hip hop dance crew, and they made a name for themselves in no time they were performing all over the town and other close by towns. All this time Keenotte was secretly writing verses and hooks, and in 2009 they all started focusing on writing music and that's the Keenotte recorded his 1st song ever with his crew and that was the beginning of it all, as they focused more on the music and less on dancing, they dropped a lot of songs together. 2010 was the biggest year for the crew, everything was promising for them, after they dropped a smash hit titled we them boys, they thought that was their song in to the industry, but I guess fate had other plans for them. It was not long until the year 2010 and the worst for the crew happened, because in 2011 they all separated going their separated ways because of school, and that was the beginning of Keenotte the solo artist.

As a solo artist Keenotte has been building his brand, his fan base, his confidence, his been dropping singles through out the years, trying to put his name out there, he has gat airplay and radio interviews on a couple of local radio stations, Rock FM, Mhlobo wenene FM, and the latest interview was with footprint Media Television they are an online TV since everything is going digital these days, he topped the chart on BNRBEST10 the online magazine and became the artist of the month with his smash hit "Wayup", Keenotte also appeared on Mzansi Magic acting on a local drama titled 9th stop Marijuana so he is an actor a well.
