PLAZA: Plaza is a comedian guy who grown up at rural village called Moletjie Ga-mamadila that's my stage name my full name is Tebogo Rapudi.
BALESH : Great "laughs" so in english we may say your surname means the father of a goat.. I kid, so how was in growing in moletjie? BALESH: Rectified (Note)
PLAZA: haha.. that's a punch line.. Growing up in Moletjie was supercool, my life was just like off any child, I guess all that happened shaped me to be the person I am today..
BALESH: It seems like you had an interesting childhood, when did you discover your talent?
PLAZA: In 2004 when I was still at high school that’s where I realized that there is this funny side of that keeps others students around me.
BALESH: Check out your gramma before you press send.. Please answer it again BALESH: Rectified (When)
PLAZA: I discovered my talent in 2004 when I was in high school, people would gather in numbers around just to laugh at the jokes coming out of my mouth "laughs"
BALESH: That's pretty cool, I hope you weren't making fun of your teachers.. did any student/teacher encourage you to follow that path or you just decided on your own?
PLAZA: Great "laughs"no one encouraged me, I just had it in me that I can do it and there time to prove it is now. BALESH: Awesome. Since you aren't encouraged by anyone, I believe you had an inspiration before you start. Who do you look up to?
PLAZA: salesman inspires me a lot .
BALESH: Is there any similarities in you and salesman?
PLAZA: apart from skinniness no we don't have.
BALESH: Make your answers bit long, so the readers can have fun... please answer it again and add more words... maybe you can tell us how you two differ BALESH: Rectified
PLAZA: Apart from skinniness, we don't have any similarities. He is a good story teller hence his jokes are mostly based on storytelling while I believe in punch lines.
BALESH: Good, I always hear people get stage fright during their first performances, how was your experience?
PLAZA: yhoo it wasn't easy it felt like my last day on earth but support and courage that I got from other comedians help to overcome fright, but I think most it causes by over thinking.
BALESH: Talking of being given courage by other comedians, who have you shared a stage with? PLAZA: I shared stage with so many comedians the like of Thabang ER, Mduduzi,Noko Moswete,Thapelo kingflat and salesman
BALESH: That's a milestone for a beginner, so tell us about one of the biggest venec comedian Mashabela Galane, he's also from your hood Moletjie - what can you say about his success?
PLAZA: I can say he is good motivation to upcoming comedians like me, he shown us that it is possible and we must never let where we come from to limit our potential
BALESH: Amazing.. Apart from comedy, what else can you do? BALESH: Rectified
PLAZA: I used to play soccer when I was bit young; I believe if I followed that path, I would be playing for one of PSL teams. I'm really a good goalkeeper; hence I now grab the mic on stages "Laughs"
BALESH: Haha with that height, I believe you.. So where do you see yourself in 5 years to come? BALESH: Rectified
PLAZA: I don't wanna put myself under pressure, so I take things slowly or one day at a time. 5 years is too long so I'll be preparing myself for greater heights as an upcoming comedian.
BALESH: Coolies "Smiles", so what can you say to your fans?
PLAZA: I really appreciate their support it keeps me going and thanks for believing in me
BALESH: Great interview, thanks for your time... Where can other get you... Any social media handle?
