INTRODUCTION:

Samuel Mokhele going by the stage name and popularly known as “JustSam” is a South African kid, born on the 22nd of November 1989 and grew up in the streets of Sharpeville his entire life. Samuel wrote his first song on May 2011 and has been rapping and performing ever since.

EARLY LIFE:

JustSam is the second born son of Memmeng Mokhele and currently the only son. JustSam Grew in a house hold of four people Mother, Grandmother little sister and himself. He first Started school at Milton Primary School from Grade 1-7 and was an athlete and a very creative child. He then completed his High School years at General Smuts High School in 2008 and during his High School years was the time when he stared exploring his creative side and stopped everything inclined with sports. In 2010 he attended Tertiary at Sedibeng FET College until late 2011. In 2012 he attended at Flavious Mareka FET College in Sasol and has not being Schooling to date. CAREER: JustSam started rapping and wrote his first song on May 2011 named “shaker” and got him very popular around his neighbourhood. He used to attend a place called “Gaza” which was operated by Archie “Ache Angel” Nhlapo which on Sundays was a hip-hop session whereby Mc’s and singers show cased their talent and skill. While he went to go watch people show case their talent he was drawn by the beat skill by a guy who goes by the name of Tshidiso ‘Bluprint’ Mofokeng who later on opened up a Recording/Media Company called Real Artists Working Media Group (RawMg) which JustSam joined and started working for. It was February 2011 when the two stared working together. His first song “shaker” got JustSam well-known around his neighbourhood. His first performance was at “Gaza” and had been performing there every Sunday. Second song JustSam wrote called “popodi” landed on a local radio station called VutFm(96.9hz) and the same song was number 1 on the Weekday show Fat5 and sat on number1 until the show was cancelled and that was an estimated 2 months. The same song got him to perform at a big show at Baseline in Newtown name “Africa Queen of DanceHall”. There after he worked on a 13Track mixtape which he named “Watch Out”. Thereafter was called to perform at a lot of shows, including being opening acts and “hypeman” for bluprint at shows for Big acts like Khuli Chana, Aka, Cassper Nyovest and more. His talent was then seen by a man named Sam Tshabalala who ownes a Company called Owami Entertainment which wanted to sign him and work with him. Through him working with Owami Entertainment JustSam shared Stages with big such as L-Tido, Muggs, Speedy, Micasa, FlyChix, Harrison Krump and many more. JustSam shot his first music video November 2012 for his single “So Eazi” shot/Edited by Owami Production House which is from his second mixtape he worked on called “KING”. KING is a 19Track mixtape which is produced by Bluprint, JustSam, LeviBeats and 808KrunkMe containing popular songs such as “Hetlela Morao, So Eazi, Church Rap and Dinka So.’ In 2013 the name ‘JustSam’ surfaced to the popular masses for remixing Famous hit tracks and singles from Famous artists in his home language which is Southern Sotho. Tracks such as Versace, Bari, Wajellwa, Poundcake, Tupperware and a lot more, averaging his song downloads at from +-1000 to 5000 per song. Same year 2 music videos were shot to support the singles that were released. ‘Pound Cake’ shot by Chaos Productions and Edited by Dada Marumo followed by ‘Kamakaze’ shot by Choas Productions and edited by JustSam himself.

“ You know What I foresee 2014 you’ll talikng about me, still do a clean moon walk ...ke jere di tina tse 25 kara crostine”. 2014 was a good year for the rising star, his Fanbase grew enourmously, attended +100 shows during the year from Schools/Clubs/BirthdayParties/Festivals/Bashes and the momentum has been rising to date. JustSam released 1 single that year which is sold on Itunes https://itunes.apple.com/za/album/live-life-single/id938538038, supported by a lot of Features from artists like Hopemasta producer of “No Sleep and Bump the Cheese up” songs of one of South Africans biggest Artist/lyricist, Reason. Buxtech, Change, Dj CrazyMo, Dj Vynal, Dj X Angel and more.. Later that year JustSam worked with Archie X-Angel Nhlapo on a song called Wajellwa 2.0 which is found on Dj X-Angels Compilation Tape supported by a Big budget Music video scripted by himself and X-angel Shot/Directed/Edited by Curve Behind, who have also worked on projects like “Red Button Ft Pro & KO- Faka ipressure”. On set there were Big names, familiar on Radio/television like Dj Switch, Yaya, Kentz the Vocal from “The Layders”.

In 2015 JustSam Opened up his own media and recording company and signed himself aswell as 2 other artists and a Hiphop Dj. G.L.U.E (Ground Level Up Entertainment) owned by 4 individuals and himself as the Major share holder and Director. Working closely with UltraTone Records/UltraTone Hip hop. UltraToneHipHop and G.L.U.E released his 1st single ‘Scoop khwela’ produced by 1000beats featuring Tova. Upon 1st week of release the song reached +10 000 downloads and counting. The track ‘Scoop kwela’ is said to be a single derived from the Upcoming EP called “TestOne/TestWan”.
