I really only have 1 mentor, Def Jam A and R Michael Neely, I linked up with him almost 2 years ago and he has taught me everything I know in the music industry.

SO WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GET INTO THE MUSIC BUSINESS?

I made many songs from as age 14 to 22. Around age 23 I realized all my talent is going to waste because I didn’t have the business side of music understood. Understanding the business side is so important in order to get your music heard.

A single father working 60 hours a week in a factory.

5. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE PRO AND CONS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

Start with the Cons... you will me a lot of thirsty untrustworthy people, you must be able to read people and study them decent otherwise you will get screwed over. Also it can be depressing because building a BUZZ takes time but it’s worth it in the end. Some Pros... When you get with the right team the sky is the limit, you will get to travel to places to do something you love and make money while you’re doing it.

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO HAVE A GREAT TEAM BEHIND?

Without a team you WILL NOT see success, you cannot create a buzz in the music scene without a team. You need people working for you while you're sleeping.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FUTURE GOALS WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC?

My goal for the coming year is 3 Gold singles through SPOTIFY. Also start touring around the country to help build buzz with radio campaigns along with it. I will not stop until I leave my mark on Hip Hop.

SO SENSE YOU BEEN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, HAVE YOU SEEN A BIG CHANGE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR FRIENDS?

Personally I’m sort of a loaner... but I have seen a change in people around me. My close friends are for the good but anybody that is not in my circle and never has helped is now trying to join our team. Moral are people who haven’t been through struggle with us wanted to reap the benefits.

WHAT IS YOUR MAIN FOCUS WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR MUSIC?

My main focus is to bring my own wave to the hip hop scene. Instead of following everyone’s trends I’m here to set a new pace.

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE US WHO FOLLOW YOU?

Anybody can follow their music passion, with the right amount of ambition and correct team behind you. I grew up poor with no father, struggled my whole life and never made an excuse. If you want something bad enough you must take it yourself.

Scooby been my nickname since a little kid and Smith is my last name.

Travis Scott, I love how much energy he puts into his music and I believe him and I would make a SUPER HIT because of our different style.
