Selena Gomez revealed that,she had to undergo a kidney transplant.

She posted on Instagram opening up about her health condition saying she found out she needed the kidney transplant due to her Lupus. "Lupus is an autoimmune disease, where the body mistakenly attacks its own tissues, sometimes including the kidneys. One healthy kidney is all the body needs, so a single kidney transplant can resolve the problem, said Dr David Klassen, chief medical officer for the United Network for Organ Sharing, which runs the nation’s transplant system." Alongside three images on Selena’s transplant journey, the 25-year-old thanks her family and team of doctors for looking after her before and after the surgery.
