F.R.U.T.H (FLAME RISING UP THE HEAT)

Antonio Pinto Adams also known as Flame and now is recently known as F.R.U.T.H was born in 1991 on the 22nd of July and grew up living in Turffontein, South of Johannesburg. Growing up he was always surrounded by loud music playing in the house as his father was a lover of music. Even though he does not have any musical background he then got use to the music so much that he fell in love with the Music.

Like everyone else he loved singing in the shower and always found himself doing that. At the age of 12 his father passed away and by then Flame was living with his Grandmother who played a major role in his life as a Mother and Father too. In 2008 he then formed a group called Young Geez and he was a young inspired rapper. The group had 3 members, but the group then split that same year after being together for a few months. That did stop him from Dreaming BIG and making moves for himself so late that same year he formed another group called Pro-Squad and in the group there were 4 rappers who enjoyed what they did.

In that group they only recorded one song then the group started having conflict with each other (Beef), same year Flame left the group. In 2009 he then joined a group called Sweet Combination (Sweet Com) which was a group of 3 members, one Motswako Rapper (Havok) one Vocalist (Killa Wave) & one Zulu Rapper (Lyric) then. They all shared the same passion for music and loved their work. As the group was starting to come along fine, both Killa Wave and Lyric left the group and only Havok and Flame were left. So they got themselves a third member, a vocalist by the name of Souliq. They recorded 11 songs in total as a group and performed some of them in charity shows, high schools and Region 9 Community Projects. Mid of 2010 they all just went their own ways after saying they will focus on their studies then music after.

Flame then went solo and worked with other upcoming artists from the South 2190 such as, Veja man, Frank Lu, Black Candle, Skills Nation Crew and more. During that period of growth and exploring new things in the music world he then got his 1st version of Image Liner (Fruity Loops) v3.7 and decided to teach himself the fundamentals of Beat compositions and music production also learned a few things from the people he had been working with. He then fell in-love with Composition and Music Production and till this day he loves what he does and will do it till his last breath. In 2012 as the year was about to end Flame then came across Isaac Mashaba also known as IsaQdeep is a House music producer, composer and Dee Jay. IsaQdeep and Flame were friends since High school and they had a good friendship and understood each other well. IsaQdeep had a few connections and some great working skills and had a proposition regarding a Record Label and at that time Flame was not so ready for such, but the following year he was more interested in Record Label and decided to sit down with him and hear him out. By then IsaQdeep had already started with the Record Label but he was still also on the starting stages and also learning and experiencing new things. They then sat down and had some agreements and they then started working together for a while then in 2015 both Flame and IsaQdeep were both fully signed 50/50 Directors of TAM Digital SA.Thus far Flame has worked with many young talented upcoming and well known guys from 2190. He has worked alongside and has produced for Z-Mac, Osiris, Ecstasy, Lu Oetry, J_BOY_P, Hydro XVII, SK Ntaeza and Derio just to name a few And he has grown from when he had started to now. Flame is now a Director, Composer, Producer, Recording and Performing Artist and a manager at TAM Digital SA.

Flame’s sound is mostly influenced by the old school and abit of the new school, so there is a fusion of sounds and it is very unique. Flame grew up listening to Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac & Nutorious B.I.G and Kaney West then later was introduced to Whiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lemar, J-Cole and more. Flame also draws some of his inspiration from local artists such as A.K.A, Cassper Nyovest, Zakwe, Younster CPT just to name a few. Flame has released a few singles during his uprising journey and has also been pushing his work and started performing again ever since he was in a group and this time it is for bigger crowds and people understand his music well. He has also performed at some events that TAM Digital SA has hosted and some from getting booked and getting invites. Eg 1 st Amsterdam Party, Hip Hop 411, Hot Tee Album launch just to name a few. Flame has is basically a Music Creator who does it all from Song writing, Beat Composition, Rapping, Production and even Mixing and Mastering his sound. He is now more mature than he was back in his starting days even though he feels like there is always more to learn and even more room for knowledge, so he is always willing to learn new things and working with new people. That way he gets to learn and also teach the other artists and producers what he also knows.

His 1st EP is Completed and ready for the world to listen. It will be released late in the 2017 and it will be released worldwide on digital Stores. Due to Copyrights of the name Flame the EP was put on hold and now all his new work come with the name F.R.U.T.H. F.R.U.T.H has been delaying his EP release way before the Copyright and now he then decided to release another EP titled F.R.U.T.H (Intro EP) and people have received it well. The Sound on his EP is basically an Introduction about himself as a youngster and upcoming Artist growing up in 2190 and it also speaks about his experiences in life. From his Struggles, Hustle, addictions and ways of living to also wanting to be one of the Greatest Artists to ever make it out the Hood. This EP will Release later in the year 2017.
