BIOGRAPHY

DLAL’UMASKHANDI hit maker recently released an EP and promised to take fans on an exciting new music journey!!!

After 10 years of the music business, Yung KG finally got a clear direction, and rebranded himself as Yung Kg Da Ex Rapper and dropped his first offering titled ‘Doing Too Much’. Considering the response that he has been getting, the high level of success is yet to come for this artist.

Yung Kg is a progressive artist who hails from a small town called Ntabankulu in the Eastern Cape. He has always been brand conscious and has been an exceptional artist from a young age. The past few years have been filled with nothing but hard work and a continuous building of a good foundation, through his brand and fan-base.

This rap sensation was introduced to Hip Hop by King Dice, whom he worked with on a song called “Nqanda Bawo”. Pursuant to this, Yung Kg moved to Kokstad, where he worked with the group called Kokstad Finest. This is where he got the exposure and decided to break into a solo music career.

This vibrant Xhosa rapper went on to win first prize on Sisonke Municipality Talent search. Yung KG went on to also perform in various stages, including at the Jozi Arts League as well as at the iKhaya Lethemba Home (Johannesburg) for abused women and children, as part of the Mandela Day 67 minutes.

After doing multiple free gigs, with hope to get some exposure, in 2016 Yung Kg performed at an annual event called; Matatiele’s Music Festival where he managed to captivate the audience with his intricate lyrical flow. This show created hype around his name and music, because he has qualities that are hard to ignore. Additionally, this young rapper has the presence of a super star, and this is part of the reason why he is considered to be the rapper to look out for.
