The MAMA's are a few weeks away and the celebrity publicity stunts have begun to take effect. The most obvious one being Cassper and AKA, again. Remember they were "beefing" around this time last year too? So this time around, it's about Cassper's claims on his track: 428 To LA that he makes a million a night. AKA called bullshit and chimed in via his twitter account...and then Cassper responded in a Sowetan interview saying;

"I make too much money and I own a business. I am not just a rapper, I own my own business and in my business I own myself. And then I've got my energy drink, I've got my clothing label and then I've got property. I've got artists, and I do my own events which can clock in about two million a night"

Hai bakithi. Can we not be so naive sometimes. Do you seriously believe that these two are not masterminding these ridiculous twars before hand, and laughing when we react in shock to them? Publicity is publicity right? With that being said, please vote at the MAMA's. We'd love to keep our rap gods swimming in Randela's, two million of them and all.

Sometimes rappers who are known to be full of themselves do something so incredibly sweet you need to take some time and salute. The little boy sitting next to K.O received the CashTime Life founder as his gift for the day together with a laptop as part of an initiative from the Reach For A Dream Foundation that helps grant the wishes of terminally ill children.

"Shout out to the Reach For a Dream Foundation for making this young man's dream come true! An innocent soul diagnosed with Leukemia (cancer) at such a young age. All he ever wanted was a laptop for school and to meet KO"

Pictures like this will have you confused about what type of person a ninja is... especially after the recent reports about ex Cash Time and Teargas member Ntukza being sidelined to the point of deciding to leave the unit coming to light in the past few days. Ntukza told the Sowetan:

"Cash Time was launched in 2007 without my knowledge, by K.O and Ma-E. This was a year after Teargas' successful first year in the industry[..] I decided to pull out when I saw the name was changed to Cash Time Life last year[...] If you listen to music they've put out since 'Life' was added you'll hear that I'm not featured in any of their tracks. I think the guys decided on starting the company without my knowledge because I had been receiving a fixed salary as a lecturer, so maybe they thought they should also get income elsewhere[...] There's no beef, even though we don't really communicate much. The business relationship is just not there, but we're cool. I don't know if Teargas will release another album again. We’ll see, but I hope so,"

OUCH! Especially because the rift has alledgedly caused distance between Ma-E and Ntukza who are biological brothers. Sort it out ya'll...blood is thicker than water and all that jazz.
