Christian Hip Hop is a thing in Zim? Tell me about how you specifically got into it and not just regular hip hop...

Christian Hip hop is the bomb in Zimbabwe at the moment and taking over the streets and airwaves as for me I started rapping 2010 and I started as a Christian rapper because I got into music when I was born again.

So CHH is more popular than regular hip hop?

I can say now its 60/40 in favour of CHH. Thing is CHH was one of the most despised types of hip hop, but now it has got the audience's attention coz we putting in quality work and as for me I am one of the hardest working in Zim hip hop overall. I’ve got quality videos and have international collabos and my music’s getting more airplay beyond our borders.

Was the plan to always cross borders or was that just a progression that just happened on its own?

To tell you the truth it didn’t happen on its own. Firstly I can say God made me able and gave me strength. I had sleepless nights and days without rest to push my music, sacrificed money and time. I finance my own stuff, I am my own manager and sponsor.

You're trying to break into the SA market now..?

Iam trying to break through into SA, I tell you it’s not easy when trying to give them something new and also making them love how I mix our Vernec and English. At the moment I am thankful for the response I am getting. SA is showing me love.

What are the major differences between the two markets? Zim and SA.

There is a huge difference between SA and Zim in that SA has managed to deal with piracy in the music, and also SA has a lot of Radio stations. Zimbabwe has less than six radio stations which makes it hard for some genres and artists to get enough airplay. We have two TV stations only while SA has a lot of channels.

It's like you're talking about a different world. What are your plans for the rest of the year career wise?

This year I have my nuclear bombs all on set , I’m just waiting to just hit the big red button. I have some surprise collabos and also I want to drop my first DVD ALBUM called TH3RD ascension. The TH3RD ASCENSION is a compilation of all the videos I did. I am dropping it has an album together with the TH3RD REANIMATION LP. I want to drop them 7 JULY

So a double album then..?
