Is rapping your true love artistically?

Mos def but the whole music concept is life to me. I run the biggest hip hop session in Northen KZN called KSB (Kick, Snares and Bass) which I started 3 years ago. It's an event dat goes on every thursday. I have my own entertainment company/recording company called Science Of Rap Ent. So with that there's a whole lot that goes on interms of the making of the music before what you hear as a song. That's how deep it is for me.

You're just coming off of Back To The City. How do you get yourself onto so many great gigs? I mean your biography is impressive. Did you start performing at smallanyana gigs around your hood and work yourself up?

It was my 1st time and yooo the love I got there was super! It was amazing! An experience to cherish and grow with. I've worked on and I'm still working hard to have more credits. I've done a lot musically. Yes it started can you believe me if I told you my first performance was at a big gig without even having recorded a track and I got paid for it? It's crazy but yeah I generally started with smaller gigs.

Your older brother was a rapper too. Is it a family affair?

It all started 14 years ago, that's when I wrote my 1st verse. I was highly influenced by my older brother. He did not teach me. I just saw him rap when I was around him and I thought to myself "I can do it too" and I did.Yeah my family is artistic. Entertainment is the deal, but basicaly all my family members do sumthing that entertains. It was quite easy for me to pursue this. You can't imagine how amazing it was having that support. Even though my mom would question it sometimes , she knew I was good. It wasn't only rap. I can dance and sketch too #GraffitiHead.

What can we expect from you in the future?

This year am dropping singles and shooting two videos. You should expect Newcastle to dominate the SA chart!

Hova rapped "Every day a star is born" and that's the song that comes to mind when I look at Prow-Jekt's young career. I'm definitely clapping for him.
