Cassper sad.jpg

Cassper's family was robbed at gun point last Thursday night. Details of exactly what happened have not been released as yet however a devasted Cassper took to twitter in a fuming rage saying;

"This fame shit is something else. Last night my family was held at gunpoint. I can't imagine what my mom and lil sister went through. Thank God they are safe,"

"These are the things that make me think of quitting. I've exposed the ones I love to some bullshit. The money and fame shit is something else."

Thank God for his family's safety through the ordeal. I'd hate for anything to interfere with his rising star. It's rare that we get to experience the negative side of fame. I mean for him to even think about quitting means that he really was rattled by this. All the money in the world can't buy back your family right? Stay strong Cassper. You can't keep a good man down.

On a lighter note...

The kids have voted Cassper as the "Coolest Local Music Star". Awww... I wonder what it takes to make the grade. He was clearly super stoked when announcing it on instagram;

"Had a tough morning but the day ended well with an award from the kids. The kids think I'm cool? Wow, thank you #GenNext2015"

It's so cool that we even have awards like this. Congratulations Cassper!

Tuks_12.jpg

Tuks Senganga is one of those rappers that can go quite and then suddenly drop something out of the blue and we will go crazy. This is exactly what has happened. After a two year hiatus, Tuks has come out of the twilight zone with a brand new single called "Gafa", read on to find out what the song is about.

Johannesburg - Hip-Hop legend Tuks has one word to say about those pesky rumours about him being broke: Gafa.

The Bona Fela singer made headlines in February, when it was alleged that he was broke, and unable to pay his bond and credit card debts.

But when The Juice spoke to Tuks recently he had only one word in response: Gafa.

Besides it being the name of Tuk's latest single, Gafa is also "a phrase to explain an unfortunate situation where you can neither confirm nor deny," Tuks explains.

And, although he says the song was not inspired by the rumours, he is just as shy (as the word Gafa suggests) to talk about the rumours.

"If you say someone is broke what can they not afford that they truly need in this life? Being broke is a subjective thing" he says.

"It was just an unfortunate situation. No one got killed. Can we just move on, please," he adds.

"There is these perceptions that people are 'arrogant' or that they are they are a 'saint' or that they are 'broke' but these are just labels we get given as we go along in life," he explains.

Still, he says the song is meant to encourage those in tough situations, to dust themselves off and keep working.

"If you having a hard time you can slot it in and it builds you up until you can say 'okay, let me go out into the world and make something out of it."

"So many people are going through these struggles but no ones really rapping about it," he tells us.

ciara-future-zahir_edited.jpg

Ciara and baby Future are the latest musical celebrity parent/child pair to turn up the cuteness in a song tribute to each other. Ciara has released a song titled "I Got You" in time for mother's day and yup, Future Jnr gurgles adorably towards the end - making it a feature. Whether he's credited or not is besides the point.

The song comes off of Ciara's new album "Jackie".

She tells told People, “If he’s ever crying or frustrated, I sing to him. He stops everything and smiles.”

Watch the video to see how she first broke the news to her mom and dad about her pregnancy and the gorgeous bond her and her chubby bunny have... (cues the "awwwwwws")

I cannot with this. I mean, my mouth was literally left open. Ladies..?
